Kicks off Friday 30 November – Festival of Lights, Christmas Fayre at The Olde White Harte & High Street Late-Night Shopping

Fancy some Christmas magic?

Our historic High Street will be lighting up the festive season from 5.30pm with a Festival of Lights: see the Big Tree and Christmas lights throughout the village.

Want festive fun and Santa? From 5.30pm until 9pm visit our traditional Christmas Fayre on the car park of the Olde White Harte in the High Street.

Seasonal stalls selling crafts, wreaths, handmade Christmas decorations, sheepskin products, candles and National Trust gifts. We’ve Glühwein to warm the coldest of nights, delicious burgers and a hog roast, plus festive entertainment from Brindley Heath Junior School “Young Voices” and the Salvation Army Band.

Olde House Tearooms and The French Quarter Restaurant

We're opening late on Friday 30 November until 8.30 pm, so why not take the opportunity to pop in? We are holding a book sale that evening, with lots of great reads waiting for you at discount prices. We'd love to welcome you to our friendly community hub in Vicarage Drive the following morning too, when our book sale will be continuing until 1 pm. Come and have a coffee, browse our sale and discover all that's on offer: special events, exhibitions, community support services and, of course, books galore to borrow!

Small Business Saturday in Kinver

Shopping in the village on Saturday 1st December

On Saturday 1 December the village celebrates Small Business Saturday, a national initiative to encourage support for local businesses.

Our own High Street offers a wide choice of Christmas presents, services with an individual touch, plus delicious food and drink from our restaurants, cafes and traditional pubs.

Come along, support local traders and enjoy a programme of street entertainment throughout the day that will include choirs, Irish dancing and live music, all performed in the High Street.

Shops will be open as usual from 9am. Don’t miss out, It’s all on your doorstep!


St. Peter’s Church Christmas Tree Festival

Friday 30th November – Sunday 2nd December

Our church is again hosting a festival of Christmas trees, this year on the theme of Christmas carols. Village organisations, businesses and individuals are all contributing their own unique designs.  Come along and discover dozens of exhibits filling our beautiful, historic church on its hilltop overlooking the village. Refreshments will be available.

Friday 30 November – 11am to 5pm

Saturday 1 December – 10am to 4pm

Sunday 2 December – 11am to 3pm
