Kicks off Friday 30 November – Festival of Lights, Christmas Fayre at The Olde White Harte & High Street Late-Night Shopping

Our historic High Street will be lighting up the festive season from 5.30pm with a Festival of Lights: see the Big Tree and Christmas lights throughout the village.
Want
Seasonal stalls selling crafts, wreaths, handmade Christmas decorations, sheepskin products, candles and National Trust gifts. We’ve Glühwein to warm the coldest of nights, delicious burgers and a hog roast, plus festive entertainment from Brindley Heath Junior School “Young Voices” and the Salvation Army Band.
7pm Santa arrives on Kinver Rotary Sleigh to meet the children- 8.30pm ‘til late the Olde White Harte: live music with Lawrie Jean

Olde House Tearooms and The French Quarter Restaurant

In our quaint black and white building you'll find a traditional, cosy tearoom serving delicious cakes, snacks and drinks during the day. Dogs are very welcome, so bring your four legged friend. You can also discover our secret walled garden for al fresco dining in warmer months.
If you love French style and French cuisine, you'll love our new venture - The French Quarter - an intimate restaurant serving authentic French dishes and fine wines. Try this very special place at the heart of Kinver - Friday evenings by reservation only.
Kinver Community Library

We're opening late on Friday 30 November until 8.30 pm, so why not take the opportunity to pop in? We are holding a book sale that evening, with lots of great reads waiting for you at discount prices. We'd love to welcome you to our friendly community hub in Vicarage Drive the following morning too, when our book sale will be continuing until 1 pm. Come and have a coffee, browse our sale and discover all that's on offer: special events, exhibitions, community support services and, of course, books galore to borrow!

Visit Chenevare Mews to discover a hidden gem. Helen Sherwin and Claire Lawson provide a warm welcome and food that has been getting rave reviews from locals. From breakfast, through brunch, lunch and tea, there is an array of mouth-watering dishes on offer such as American pancakes, eggs Benedict, falafel, Harrissa chicken flatbreads and churros with chocolate sauce - too many to mention here, so call in and taste for yourself.
Poole House Farm Meats at The Butchery

Our small, family run local business specialises in Rare Breeds. We ensure that our pigs have the highest standards of care, raised on grassland and producing meat that is tender, flavoursome and of the best quality. We believe that happy pigs produce the tastiest meat. Visit The Butchery to try some for yourself. Orders can be as large or as small as you like, and we offer gluten free sausages too!

Hosting the Kinver Christmas Fayre on Friday 30 November at the very heart of the High Street, our historic pub serves traditional ales and great food that's real value for money. Whether it’s a quick bite to eat or a catch-up with friends at the weekend over a game of pool, we offer the perfect setting. We're family friendly and give a warm welcome to all. Don't miss our regular live music sessions: Lawrie Jean will be performing after the Fayre on 30th November to keep us in the festive mood.

Small Business Saturday in Kinver
Shopping in the village on Saturday 1st December
Our own High Street offers a wide choice of Christmas presents, services with an individual touch, plus delicious food and drink from our restaurants, cafes and traditional pubs.
Come along, support local traders and enjoy a programme of street entertainment throughout the day that will include choirs, Irish dancing and live music, all performed in the High Street.
Shops will be open as usual from 9am. Don’t miss out, It’s all on your doorstep!
